CIPHER BRANDS
Castech over the last 15 years has been supplying the equine market in New Zealand and Australia with custom freeze brand ciphers. Brands have been supplied for thoroughbreds, standard bred, warm bloods, paint, ponies, eventing and sporting horses.
Cast in LG2 bronze which 85% copper provides ideal low temperature retention properties. Each brand has a 20mm solid bronze base.
Brands are supplied with a threaded handle. All brands comply with NZTBA guidelines.
A proof of the brand can be supplied for approval prior to manufacture.A close relationship has developed with the cipher registering body, NZ Thoroughbred Breeders Association.

HOT BRANDS
Castech can also supply a custom cipher for hot branding manufactured in grey iron.
NUMERICAL BRANDS
Castech is New Zealand’s premier supplier of numerical freeze branding equipment. The numbers are cast individually and designed to be held in Castech’s spring loaded holder system.
Brands are sold as sets 0-8 & number holder.
1-3 numbers can be held in the top row, 1 number on the bottom row.
Numbers are easily changed.

CATTLE BRANDS
Castech manufactures numerical freeze brands for use with cattle.
Available in 3 sizes 50mm (2”), 75mm (3”), 100mm (4”)
